TERMS OF SERVICE

Please read through this section, as it provides the terms of service between I (the merchant), and you (the client). The following is included in this section:

  • Usage rights

  • Payment guidelines

  • Refund policy

  • The commission process

Your commission request may be rejected or put on the waitlist when slots are full. Waitlisted commissions require no payment, and will be queued until a slot is available.By submitting a commission request, you acknowledge and understand that the expected deliverable will be a custom digital illustration, and any additional electronic files as agreed upon. The commission rate reflects the hourly labour required to produce the deliverable.

1.1: Usage Rights

  1. I retain full ownership over all my commission work and the right to use it for marketing purposes, promotional material, etc.

  2. You may use the paid commission art for any personal use. You are welcome to post and share the artwork anywhere. However, ensure to credit me where it's due. Please do not claim, copy, or make merchandise of my art without my permission.

1.2: Payment Guidelines

  • Payment is made after the commission request has been accepted

  • The commission starts once payment has been received

  • Rates are in CAD and can be sent through Paypal invoice (provided by the merchant) or Ko-Fi.

1.3: Refund Policy

Please inform me IMMEDIATELY if you wish for a refund. You may keep what work has been done on the commission, and can contact me to resume it at any point

  • 100% if the commission has not been started

  • 50% after the sketch or line work (NOT APPLICABLE FOR LINE WORK COMMISSIONS)

  • 0% If the commission has gone past sketch/line work phase (i.e, the flats colours have been added). In this case, no refund will be provided.

1.4: The Commission Process

Once the commission has begun, you will receive milestone updates leading to the finalized illustration. These defining steps are:

  1. Thumbnails: in which you will receive at most 3 to choose from, depending on the complexity of the request.

  2. Refined Sketch / Line Work: Cleaning up the chosen thumbnail.

  3. Flats / Rough Colours: Colour pallet experimentation and correction

  4. Shaded / Painted: Last call for adjustment and changes!

I typically respond to requests between 1-4 days. If you have not heard back from me within that timeframe, feel free to send an email/contact me on any of my SMS.
